PLAYS INTERNATIONAL
Take the Space are making their second visit to Portland with their sell-out success, Hanging Hooke, to mark the 350th anniversary of The Royal Society this year.
Christopher Wren loved him… Isaac Newton loathed him… Robert Hooke, polymath genius of the 17th century, provoked intense loyalty, controversy, jealousy and hatred. Since its premiere at Yvonne Arnaud Theatre Studio, Take the Space have toured extensively and experienced national success with Hanging Hooke, which was nominated for the Meyer Whitworth award and the Susan Smith Blackburn prize. .

10am - 6pm - Stonemasons carving the bell mould.
